This is one of those dishes that is made up of all the leftovers in your fridge, yet somehow manages to taste better than the dishes the leftovers were from in the first place… a mystery of life.
Grill half a sliced onion for 3minutes, then add a few slices of polenta to a different part of the hot plate. Next add 2 or 3 handfuls of broccoli and a splash of water and let that steam for 4minutes. Then turn the polenta slices. When everything is just about cooked, pour some pasta sauce (I had chilli and tomato left over) over the broccoli and red onion and let it sizzle and heat through. Pile it up on a plate and eat!
